I think pretty much everyone that played last years game will agree with me on this one, infact Burnout 3 was even rated as Racing Game of 2004 by PAX Gamers and many other sites. So burnout is back once again, now named "Burnout Revenge" with numerous new features and the same Burnout fun as before.
New to this game is a plethora of features, including "Check Traffic" where you can ram cars incoming into enemies, "Grudge Match", "Built to Battle" has numerous jumps, chokepoints and paths allowing you to complete a race different ways. One of the best new features in Burnout Revenge is even more Car Deformation, EA is saying there will be more than 3 times the deformation than Burnout 3, allowing you to basically rip cars to shreds.
Another improvement for Revenge is three new car classes (race, muscle and crash) and with these new classes you can gain powerups, "physically transforming as they become more powerful". Of course Revenge has all these new improvements and features but one of the best things about Burnout 3 returns, speed and nasty crashes! Also returning is the real-world location, in Revenge this includes cities such as, Tokyo, Detroit, Rome and more! Lastly Burnout 3 was rated as one of the best online games of last year and Burnout Revenge also has online play, 6 players for PS2 and of course XBOX Live.
If you couldn't tell already, there aren't a large amount of new features in Burnout Revenge and if you spent 50 bucks already on Burnout 3 then your best bet might be just renting this one. But otherwise this game looks like it's going to even be better than last year's amazing game and it should definately be worth the price.
